While still a student, Janina gained extensive stage experience at renowned theaters. At the Staatstheater Kassel, she could be seen in productions such as „School of Rock“ as Patty Di Marco/Mrs. Bingham, in „La Cage aux Folles“ as Francis/Cagelle Angelique, and in „Peter Pan“ as narrator and singing voice. At the Theater Osnabrück, she performed on stage in „Tootsie“ as Ensemble/Cover Suzie, and at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden, she participated in the premiere of „Jugend ohne Gott.“ In 2026, she will be seen at the Bad Hersfelder Festspiele in „Something Rotten“ as Ensemble/Helena.
In addition to her stage work, Janina is also involved behind the scenes: for „Sweeney Todd,“ she took on the role of deputy musical director and assistant director, and for „Tartuffe,“ she served as assistant director alongside her role as Marianne.
As a violist, Janina is also in high demand. Since 2022, she has been accompanying the singer Mine as a solo violist on concert tours, performing in venues such as the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Uber Eats Arena Berlin, Tonhalle München, and Palladium Köln. In September 2025, she was featured as a violist at the opening of Dota 2 in the Barclays Arena Hamburg. In November 2025, she performed at the Robbie Williams Gala in the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg with the Orchestra of the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt. Previously, from 2017 to 2021, she was active as a violist, section leader, and board member in the State Youth Orchestras of Saarland, Rhineland-Palatinate, Hamburg, and Hesse.
Janina is a scholarship holder of the Ingeborg Siebert Foundation (2024-2026) and was a finalist in the German National Singing Competition in 2023 and 2025. In addition to viola, she plays violin, piano, guitar, recorder, and Udu drum. She speaks German, English, and Spanish and is proficient in the dialects Palatinate German, Hessian German, Berlin German, and Bavarian German.
